Company Culture: Finding the “Right” Person for the Job

I have been hearing a lot from candidates and employers on how critical it is to find people that fit within the company culture – whether it be a company of 10 or 10,000. Every company has a culture — and you need to find the right person that fits that culture because often times you can teach the skill that is necessary to do the job. I love that this article says, “no experience is necessary.” When the Chipotle managers find the individuals that possess the qualities they mentioned (motivated, curious, happy, etc.), that is who they hire; and then they teach them the skills that are necessary to get the job done.

Being a Chipotle lover, I sense that culture when I go to all different Chipotle restaurants. They are showing others how to run a successful business and lead teams. These are the attributes that will further who they are and make them successful.
